Issued decisions 

– Cairo Criminal Court renewed, yesterday evening, the precautionary measures against Asmaa Abdel-Hamid and Youssef Ahmed for 45 days pending case No. 718 of 2018 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court renewed, yesterday evening, the detention of accountant Hassan Barbary for 45 days pending case No. 930 of 2019 State Security.

– A former police officer and a son of a former MP have been sentenced to 5 years in prison in the case of the murder of child Youssef al-Arabi, the son of activist Marwa Kenawi.

– The detention of Khaled Atef has been renewed for 15 days pending case No. 1502 of 2019 State Security Al-Salam Emergency on a charge of joining a terrorist group.

– Cairo Criminal Court has adjourned the retrial procedures of 46 defendants in the case known in the media as “Al-Fath Mosque incidents” for November 24 hearing.

– Cairo Criminal Court has adjourned the retrial of 37 defendants in the case known in the media as “storming Al-Tebein Police Station” for tomorrow morning’s hearing.

– The Military Court has adjourned the trial of 271 defendants in the case known in the media as “Hasm and Lewaa El-Thawra Movements” for November 20 hearing.

–   Cairo Criminal Court has adjourned the trial of 11 defendants in the case known in the media as “the assassination attempt of Alexandria’s security director” for November 20 hearing.

– Zagazig Criminal Court has accepted the appeal filed by Dr. Tarek Al-Sheikh, admin of Facebook page “Egypt’s scientists are angry”, challenging his pretrial detention order, and accordingly ordered his release.

Decisions not issued until 5 pm

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution has just considered the pretrial detention session of Dr. Hazem Ghoneim pending case No. 1338 of 2019, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
