    Charges:  During the period from 2015 to 8 May 2017, the first defendant “Abdullah Amer” established the Al-Mourabitoun cell commissioned by terrorist “Hisham Ashmawy” after the later separated from Ayman Al-Zawahiri, the leader of Al-Qaeda. The fifth defendant “Ahmed Muhammad Tawfiq” is charged with financing and joining a terrorist group.

    Charges: Leading a terrorist group whose purpose is to call for disturbing public order, disrupting the provisions of the constitution and laws, preventing state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their duties, assaulting citizens’ personal freedom  alongside public freedoms and rights, leading and managing a group cell accusing the ruler of being disbeliever and calling for the legitimacy to remove him from office and to forcefully topple the regime, assaulting members of the armed forces and police and attacking their institutions, and calling for the killing of Christians and their places of worship.
