Issued decisions  

– Cairo Criminal Court decided, yesterday evening, to set the trial of 24 defendants in the case publicly known as “Harming the national economy” for adjudication at the April 30 hearing.

– Giza Criminal Court adjourned, yesterday evening, the trial of 45 defendants in the case publicly known as “High Pressure Towers Bombing” for the March 17 hearing.

– The State Security Prosecution decided, yesterday evening, to renew the detention of lawyer Mohab El-Ebrashi, Dr. Gamal Abdel Fattah, and the two students Khaled Abdel Galil and Khaled Bassiouni for 15 days pending case No. 1739 of 2108 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court decided, yesterday evening, to renew the detention of lawyers Ahmed Sabry Abo Alam and Sayed al-Banna and activists Ayman Abdel-Moati and Walid Shawky for 45 days pending case No. 621 of 2018 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court decided, yesterday evening, to renew the detention of photojournalist Shorouk Amgad for 45 days pending case No. 441 of 2018 State Security.

– Giza Criminal Court sentenced one defendant to life imprisonment in his retrial procedures over the case publicly known as “Rabaa Operations Room”.

– The Military Court adjourned the trial of 271 defendants in the case publicly known as “Hasm Movement II” for the March 27 hearing.

– Alexandria Criminal Court turned down the appeal submitted by human rights lawyer Mohamed Ramadan against the 15-day pretrial detention order issued against him in the “Yellow Vests” case, and accordingly upheld the decision.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 11 defendants in the case known as “Helwan’s Marmina Church incidents” for the March 23 hearing.

– The State Security Prosecution ordered the release of three Al-Ahly Sporting Club fans under the guarantee of their place of residence in the case publicly known as “Monna Gabouni Match incidents”.

– Cairo Criminal Court is presiding over the trial of 28 defendants in the case publicly known as “Breaching the country’s eastern borders”, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
