– The investigative judge mandated by Cairo Court of Appeal to investigate the case known in the media as “the closure of civil society” has shelved the investigation into the case ordering to rule out the lodging of the criminal proceedings by 20 civil society organizations, entities and institutions.
– Dokki Prosecution ordered the release of Hany Riyadh after hearing his statement into the case No. 5614 of 2019 Dokki Adminisrative, filed by former Minister of Antiquities Zahi Hawass accusing him of defamation charges and impersonation of a journalist.
