– Cairo Criminal Court’s 1st Terrorism circuit adjourned yesterday evening the trial of 215 defendants in the case known in the media as “Helwan Brigades” for the hearing of 4 April to continue the case’s pleadings.
– The Court of Cassation adjourned the consideration of the appeals submitted by 15 defendants in the case known in the media as “US Embassy incidents II” for the hearing of 6 April.
– The East Cairo Military Court adjourned the sentencing hearing in the trial of 271 defendants in the case known in the media as “Hasm Movement II” for the hearing of 17 March.
– The Court of Adminisrative Justice rejected the lawsuit filed by journalist Karem Yehia, who is running for the position of the Journalists Syndicate Chairman, demanding to exclude the current Journalists Chairman Dyiaa Rashwan from the midterm elections, or to oblige him to submit his resignation as the head of the State Information Service.
