– Cairo Criminal Court’s 1st Terrorism Circuit set the trial of 11 defendants in the case known in the media as “Spying for Isis” for adjudication at the hearing of April 27.
– The Court of Adminisrative Justice turned down the lawsuit filed by Mortada Mansour demanding to cancel the Supreme Council for Media Regulation’s decision to stop broadcasting the “Zamalek Today” program while ordering Al Mehwar TV to pay the fine.
– The Court of Adminisrative Justice rejected 3 appeals submitted by the Journalists Syndicate demanding to suspend the mid-term elections for the syndicate’s board which is scheduled for next March 5, 2021 due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
