Issued decisions
– East Cairo Criminal Court, convened at Tora Court Complex, adjourned
the trial of 271 defendants pending the Case No. 123 of 2018, known in
the media as "Hasm &Lewaa El-Thawra 2", registered under Case No. 420
of 2017 and Case No. 1074 of 2017. The trial was postponed to the
hearing of November 11, 2020.
– Zagazig Criminal Court ordered the release of 52 defendants pending
investigations into the Case No. 1413 of 2019, which is part of Case No.
1338 of 2019 State Security, known in the media as "20 September 2019
Protests".
– North Cairo Criminal Court ordered the continuation of the precautionary
measures issued against Moa'min Roshdy, to be in effect for 45 days
pending the Case No. 1091 of 2020 Azbakyia Misdemeanor.
– The Public Prosecution decided to refer three suspects accused of killing
and stealing a young woman in Maadi to criminal court in what is known
as "Maadi girl".
