– The Terrorism Misdemeanor Court at Sharqyia governorate sentenced an employee at Al-Mesaha Directorate to 3 years in prison on charges of joining a terrorist group and possessing publications inciting against the state and its institutions at Minya El-Qamh province.
– The Court of Cassation upheld, in a final verdict, the 3-year prison sentence and 99 million EGP fine issued by the criminal court against former Shura Council Speaker Safwat Al-Sharif after convicting him of illicit gain.
– The 5th Circuit at Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 4 defendants in the case known in the media as “Isis’s cell- Boulaq El-Dakrour” for the hearing of October 10, 2020 for the defendants’ presence.
– Cairo Economic Misdemeanor Court adjourned the trial of Hadeer Al-Hady, a new TikTok influencer who is accused of violating the community’s values and inciting immorality, for the hearing of October 13, 2020 while ordering the continuation of the defendant’s detention.
