Decisions not issued until 5 PM:

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution is considering the detention renewal of journalist Mervat al-Husseini pending investigations in case No. 441 of 2018 State Security. The decision hasn’t yet been issued.

– Dokki Appellate Misdemeanors Court is presiding over the trial of human rights lawyer Khaled Ali in the case of the indecent act in public, and the decision hasn’t yet been issued.

Issued decisions:

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution ordered the detention renewal of Abeer al-Safty for 15 days and the continuation of the precautionary measures against Asmaa Abdel-Hamid in case No. 718 of 2018 State Security, known in media as “Metro detainees”.

– The Military Court adjourned the trial of 292 defendants in case 148 Military known as the “Assassination attempt of Sisi and the former Saudi Crown Prince” case for the 12 September hearing, to proceed with the defense pleading.

– Giza Criminal Court sentenced 5 defendants to 14 years in prison in their retrial in the case known in media as “the sedition of the Shia” that dates back to 2013.

– North Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of Helwan and Dar al- Salam police station’s assistant detectives, on charges of beating a defendant to death during his arrest, for the 7 November hearing, to discuss the forensic report.

– Giza Criminal Court set the retrial procedures of one defendant accused in the case known in media as “Nozha violence incidents” for adjudication at the 8 October hearing.
