– Cairo Criminal Court decided, yesterday evening, to hold Riman al-Husseini in detention for 45 days pending case No. 817 of 2018 State Security.

–  Cairo Criminal Court decided, yesterday evening, to hold Ayman Abdel-Moati, Mona Abdel-Gawwad, Mohamed Khalid, Mohamed Ibrahim “Oxygen”, Sherif al-Roubi and lawyers Sayed al-Banna and Ahmed Sabri Abo Aalm in detention for further 45 days pending case No. 621 of 2018 State Security.

– The Court of Cassation set the appeal submitted by 39 defendants in the case known in the media as “Egypt Soldiers” for adjudication at the May 7 hearing.

– A criminal Court decided to refer two defendants, out of 11 accused in the case publicly known as “Helwan’s Marmina Church incidents”, to the Grand Mufti for an opinion before executions can take place, and set the case for adjudication at the May 12 hearing.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of Waili Police Station’s assistant detective and 8 others, accused of “torturing citizen to death and the cruel treatment of two others”, for the June 19 hearing, to hear the witnesses.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of ousted President Mohammed Morsi and 28 others in the case known in the media as “breaching the eastern borders” for the May 5 hearing, to continue the defense’s pleading.

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution renewed the detention of Karim Zeidan and Mahmoud Mahrous for 15 days pending probe into case No. 1739 of 2018 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court is presiding over the trial of 9 defendants in the case known in the media as “stock market manipulation”, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.

– The Military Court is presiding over the trial of 555 defendants in the case known in the media as “Sinai Province Organization”, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
