– Cairo Criminal Court decided, yesterday evening, to extend the precautionary measures issued against the “Metro detainees” for 45 days pending case No. 718 of 2018 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court renewed the precautionary measures issued against Hagar Abdallah for 45 days pending case No. 441 of 2018 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court decided, yesterday evening, to renew the detention of Moaaz Matar for 45 days pending case No. 640 of 2018 State Security.

– The State Security Prosecution renewed the detention of Ahmed al-Rassam for 15 days pending investigations into case No. 277 of 2019 State Security.

– The Court of Administrative Justice turned down the appeal submitted by the head of Zamalek sporting club challenging the decision to suspend “Zamalek Al Youm” program aired on Al-Mehwar TV channel and to obligate the channel to pay compensation of EGP 50,000.

– Waily Court ordered the release of 7 workers of Hasan Allam Company for construction and infrastructure, after they were charged with gathering and disruption of work.

– The Court of Cassation mitigated the death penalty issued by the criminal court against 5 defendants to life imprisonment and 15-year high-security prison sentence, while it ordered the acquittal of 3 other defendants in the case known in the media as “Damietta Cell”.

– The Court of Administrative Justice decided to adjourn the lawsuit demanding the suspension of broadcasting LTC TV channel for the April 28 hearing until submitting documents by the administration.

– Aswan State Security Misdemeanors Court ordered the defendants (from No. 1 to 25) of the case of “Nuba sons” publicly known as “The Tambourine Detainees” to pay a fine of 50,000 each, while it acquitted the defendants from No. 26 to 32.

– The Court of Administrative Justice adjourned the lawsuit No. 39418 for the judiciary year 1973 challenging the sanctions list of the Law Regulating the Press and Media for the May 26 hearing to carry out the intervention procedures.
