The State Security Prosecution renewed, yesterday evening, the detention of CBC TV channel cameraman Islam Mosadaq pending investigations into Case No. 488 of 2019.

 

– The State Security Prosecution renewed the detention of “Al-Nahar” TV channel reporter Abdel-Rahman Yassin for 15 days pending investigations into Case No. 1250 of 2019.

The State Security Prosecution renewed the detention of Abdel-Nasser Ismail, the Vice President of the Popular Alliance Party, for 15 days pending investigations into Case No. 488 of 2019 State Security.

 

– Artist and contractor Mohamed Ali has been sentenced to 5 years in prison and a fine of EGP 50,000 on a charge of tax evasion.

 

– The trial of 215 defendants in the case known in the media as “Helwan Brigades” has been adjourned for December 16 hearing, to proceed with the defense team’s pleading.
