–  Dar al-Salam and Basateen Appellant Misdemeanor Court, convened at South Cairo Court “Zeinhom” rejected the appeal submitted by Helwan Prosecution and upheld the release order for Khaled Atef on bail of 10,000 EGP into case No. 20398 of 2019 Helwan Misdemeanor.

– Cairo Criminal Court renewed, yesterday evening, the detention of Hamada Mohamed, Ibrahim Medhat, Ibrahim Mohamed, Thaer Ezzat, Karim Zeidan, Mahmoud Mahrous and Khaled Sayed Youssef for 45 days pending case No. 1739 of 2018 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court renewed, yesterday evening, the detention of Reeman al-Hussani for 45 days pending investigations into case No. 817 of 2018 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court renewed, yesterday evening, the detention of activist Amr Ali for 45 days pending investigations into case No. 473 of 2014 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned, yesterday evening, the consideration of the detention renewal of photojournalist Shorouk Amgad for tomorrow morning’s session pending case No. 441 of 2018 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court renewed, yesterday evening, the detention of pharmacist Gamal Abdel-Fattah for 45 days pending investigations into case No. 482 of 2018 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court renewed, yesterday evening, the detention of lawyer Sayed al-Banna, Ayman Abdel-Moati and Dr. Walid Shawky for 45 days pending investigations into case No. 621 of 2018 State Security.

– Port Said Criminal Court adjourned, yesterday evening, the trial of 47 defendants in the case known in the media as “Al-Arab Police Station incidents” for the September 26 hearing.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 16 defendants in the case known in the media as “Jabhat al-Nusra” (Al-Nusra Front) for the August 16 hearing.

 

Decisions not issued until 5 pm:- 

– Cairo Criminal Court has finished considering the detention of photojournalist Shorouk Amgad pending case No. 441 of 2018 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.

– The Military Court is presiding over the trial of 43 defendants in the case known in the media as “Storming Al-Wahat checkpoint”, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
