– The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided, yesterday evening, to renew the detention of Mohamed Fady Ahmed for 15 days pending case No. 488 of 2019 State Security.<\/p>\n
– The Court of Cassation accepted the appeal submitted by 28 defendants against the sentences handed down to them in the case publicly known as “the murder of journalist Mayada Ashraf”, and accordingly changed the sentences from imprisonment with force and labor to merely imprisonment with the same prison term duration.<\/p>\n
