– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of Gamal and Alaa Mubarak and 7 others in the “Stock market manipulation” case for the January 19 hearing.<\/p>\n
– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 16 defendants in the case publicly known as “Foreign funding case” for the December 20 hearing.<\/p>\n
– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 30 defendants in “Al-Mataryia violence incidents” case for the tomorrow’s hearing (November 22).<\/p>\n
– Banha Criminal Court ruled that writer Mahmoud Imam be returned to prison and come back at the tomorrow’s hearing to consider his detention renewal in case No. 1959 of 2018 Al-Khosos Administrative.<\/p>\n
– The Court of Cassation rejected the appeal submitted by 6 defendants and upheld the life imprisonment sentences handed down to them. The court, however, accepted the appeal filed by 3 others defendants against the high-security prison sentences they received over “Al-Omranyia violence incidents”, and accordingly ordered their acquittal.<\/p>\n
– The Court of Cassation set the 26 February 2019 hearing as the first hearing to consider the appeal submitted by 187 defendants in the case known in the media as “Talaa’ Hasm” (Hasm pioneers) to challenge the decision to include them in the terrorism list.<\/p>\n
– Port Said Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 70 defendants in the case known in the media as “Al-Arab police station incidents” for the December 19 hearing.<\/p>\n
