\n– Cairo Criminal Court’s 1st circuit adjourned yesterday evening the trial of 215 defendants in the case known in the media as “Helwan Brigades” for the 1st of December 2020 to proceed with the pleadings.
\n– The Court of Urgent Matters ruled to seize the funds of 285 members of the Muslim Brotherhood group and 3 affiliated entities. The total confiscated funds included all their real estate, liquid and movable properties, shares and bonds in the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
\n– The Court of Cassation turned down the appeal filed by 13 defendants challenging the decision to fine them 10,00EGP each for protesting without prior notice in Beheira governorate.<\/p>\n
