\nIssued decisions
\n– Cairo Criminal (Terrorism) Court’s 5th circuit sentenced human rights activist Bahy al-Din Hassan, director of Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies (CIHRS), to 15 years in high-security prison on charges of spreading false news, inciting against the state and insulting the judiciary.
\n– Cairo Criminal (Terrorism) Court’s 5th circuit sentenced 8 defendants to 10 years in high-security prison in their retrial over the case publicly known as “Helwan’s Martyrs Square incidents”.
\n– Giza Criminal Court adjourned, today (Tuesday), the trial of 6 defendants accused of sexually assaulting “Tik Tok” girl Menna Abdel-Aziz for the first of September, 2020 hearing until the defense check the case’s documents.
