\n– The Military Court adjourned, yesterday evening, the trial of 555 defendants in the case known in the media as “Sinai Province Organization” for the hearing of August 18, 2020.
\n– Cairo Criminal Court’s 5th circuit set the trial of 6 defendants in the case known in the media as “Maspero incidents II” for adjudication at the hearing of October 13, 2020.
\n– Cairo Economic Appellant Court set the sentencing hearing in the appeal submitted by Hanin Hossam, Mawada Al-Adham and 3 others, challenging the 2-year prison sentence and EGP 300,000 fine issued against them, on charges of “offending the family principles and values of Egyptian society”, at the September 14 hearing.
\n– The Economic Court set the trial of Sama El-Masry after charging her with inciting immorality and debauchery over a new case for adjudication at the hearing of September 21.
\n– The Terrorism Misdemeanor Court in Sharqyia governorate sentenced 6 defendants, including students from Al-Azhar University and preachers from the Ministry of Religious Endowments (Awqaf), to three years in prison; on charges of joining the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorist group and possessing publications that incite against the state and its institutions.
