Issued decisions

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided, yesterday evening, to renew the detention of Dr. Gamal Abdel-Fattah, lawyer Mohab El-Ebrashi and students Khaled Mahmoud and Khaled Bassiouni for 15 days pending case No. 1739 of 2018 State Security.

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided, yesterday evening, to renew the detention of student Ahmed Eid for 15 days pending case No. 488 of 2019 State Security.

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided, yesterday evening, to renew the detention of Yehia Hussein Abdel Hady for 15 days pending case No. 277 of 2019 State Security.

– Giza Criminal Court upheld the 7-year high-security prison sentence issued in-absentia against two defendants in the case known in the media as “The killing of child Youssef al-Araby”.

– Cairo Criminal Court has accepted the appeal submitted by the State Security Prosecution challenging the release order issued on probation for photojournalist Mohamed Abo Zeid Kamel pending case No. 441 of 2018 State Security, and ruled to renew his detention for 45 days.

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution has renewed the detention of Rasha Abdel Rahman for 15 days pending case No. 488 of 2019 State Security.

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution has renewed the detention of Hamada Mohamed Seddiq for 15 days pending case No. 1739 of 2018 State Security.

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution has renewed the detention of Islam Fathy Saleh for 15 days pending case No. 470 of 2019 State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court has presided over the trial of 32 defendants in the case known in the media as “Helwan Microbus Cell”, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
