Introduction 

Nineteen protests have been monitored during the first half of November 2021,

Sixteen of which are social protests, and three are labor protests.

Most of the protests took place due to the absence of the role of the local council in neighborhoods and villages, in addition to the lack of basic services such as electricity and sanitation.

First: Social Protests:

5- A collective complaint filed by the people of the Bashteel district in “Giza” governorate for the closure of the main corridors because of the subway project (population sector).

7- A collective complaint from the students of the University City (dorms) in Aswan governorate due to the electricity outage and the lack of basic services. (Student sector.)

1- A protest vigil organized by the landowners of the city of Sphinx “Giza” due to the high value of the reconciliation. (population sector)

2- A protest vigil organized by the people of Al-Warraq Island “Giza” against the closure of the health unit on the island. (Population sector.)

3- A protest vigil organized by students of the School of Excellence for Technology and Information “Minya” due to the lack of teachers, poor housing, internet outage, and water and electricity problems in the school.  (Student sector)

4- A number of students at “Fayoum School” organized a protest to demand that teachers attend school.  (Student sector)
