– Cairo Criminal Court decided yesterday to adjourn the trial of 47 defendants in the case known in the media as “The airport” for the hearing of December 9 to continue hearing the witnesses’ testimonies.
– The 2nd circuit at Cairo Criminal Court, convened at Tora Court Complex, sentenced 59 defendants to 10 years in high-security prison and 7 others to 5 years in prison, while it ordered the acquittal of 29 defendants in their retrial procedures in the case known in the media as “Rabaa Sit-in dispersal”.
– The New Cairo Appellate Misdemeanor Court decided, today, to adjourn the first hearing of the appeal submitted by Hadeer Al-Hadi challenging the two-year prison sentence and a fine of 100,000 EGP issued against her on charges of spreading immorality and debauchery in the case publicly known as “Tik Tok Girls”. The appeal was postponed to the hearing of December 10, 2020 for the pleadings.
– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of the defendants accused in the case known in the media as “The billion dollar corruption” for the hearing of December 5, 2020. The defendants of this case, noteworthy, had previously submitted a request to disqualify the court’s judges.
– South Cairo Criminal Court, convened in the Fifth Settlement, postponed the consideration of the request to seize Dr. Hassan Nafaa’s funds to the hearing of December 6, 2020.
– The Supreme Disciplinary Court of the State Council ruled to punish the President and Vice President of Gamasa City, along with other officials, after it was proven that they committed grave financial and administrative infractions in Case No. 186 of 61 (Supreme Judicial Year) regarding the prohibition of contracts. The court, on the other hand, ordered the acquittal of the project’s manager for not being involved in such infractions.
– The 2nd Terrorism Circuit, held at the Tora Courts Complex, sentenced one defendant to 7 years in high-security prison in his retrial in the case publicly known as “Al-Ayat violence incidents”.
