Issued decisions
– The Court of Administrative Justice decided, Saturday, to adjourn the lawsuit demanding to oblige the authorities to issue a decision to temporarily seize and nationalize all private and investment hospitals during the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and for a period no less than 3 months. The decision includes placing those hospitals and specialized medical centers under the full supervision of the Health Ministry and mandating private health sector’s medical staff to continue providing free health services to those infected with coronavirus. The court decided to postpone the case for the hearing of 3 October, 2020.
– Cairo Misdemeanor Court ordered the acquittal of 3 defendants accused of fighting with the former head of Central Auditing Authority Hesham Geniena, at the 1st Settlement Police Station’s area.
– Cairo Terrorism Court’s 5th circuit adjourned the retrial procedures of 4 defendants sentenced in absentia to high-security prison in the case of “January Revolution third anniversary’s incidents”. The case was postponed for the hearing of August 29, 2020 due to the inability to transfer a defendant from his jail to the courthouse. The court also decided to fine one of the defendants EGP 1000.
– Bani Suef Criminal Court adjourned the detention renewal session of a number of defendants accused in the Case No. 1413 of 2019 State Security for the hearing of 5 September 2020, while ordering their detention renewal pending the case.
