- Cairo Criminal Court sentenced a nurse to one year in prison after she stole syringes that worth 80,000 LE.
- The Court of Administrative Justice’s 2nd circuit adjourned the lawsuit demanding to halt implementation of the Solidarity Ministry’s decision to withdraw the license of the union of press and media workers. The lawsuit, No. 32344 of the judicial year 74, was postponed to the hearing of 9 August 2020.
- Cairo Criminal Court’s 5th court sentenced today Sunday, 13 defendants to life imprisonment and 3 others to 15 years in prison in the case known in the media as “Al-Nusra Front organization”.
- Cairo Criminal Court’s 5th court adjourned the retrial procedures of 2 defendants, who was sentenced in absentia to 7 years in high-security prison after being convicted of violence incidents at May 15 district in the aftermath of the Muslim Brotherhood’s sit-in dispersal. The case was postponed to the hearing of 23 June until hearing the witnesses’ testimonies and the defense’s pleadings.
