– Cairo Criminal Court sentenced 3 defendants, in presentia, to death by hanging, in the case known in the media as “The assassination attempt of Alexandria’s Security Director”.
– Al-Mansoura Misdemeanor Court sentenced lawyer Mohamed Abdel-Mawla to one year in prison with bail of LE 2000, over the accusation of attacking a police officer during the curfew.
Decisions not issued
– Giza Criminal Court’s 2nd circuit has just considered the detention renewal of lawyer Mohamed Nasser Deif-Allah pending the Case No. 631 of 2019 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
