Issued decisions 

– South Cairo Prosecution renewed the detention of Ahmed Said for 15 days pending the Case No. 1234 of 2020 Khalifa Administrative. 

– The State Security Prosecution appealed the decision to replace student Ahmed Mohamed Hassan’s pretrial detention with precautionary measures pending the Case 770 of 2019 and set tomorrow’s hearing to consider the appeal.

– Giza Criminal Court’s 2nd circuit sentenced one defendant to one year in prison with force and labor into his retrial procedures pending the case known in the media as “Talaat Harb incidents”.  

– Giza Criminal Court’s 2nd circuit sentenced three defendants to life imprisonment on charges of possessing explosive materials and firearms in Cairo’s Mataryia district, pending the case No. 55 of 2020 Emergency State Security.

– Cairo Criminal Court has considered the detention renewal of vlogger Mohamed Oxygen pending the Case No. 1356 of 2019 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision so far. 

– Cairo Criminal Court has considered the detention renewal of journalist Adel Sabry pending the Case No. 441 of 2018 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.

– Giza Criminal Court has considered the detention renewal of activist Khalil Abdel-Hamid Khalil pending the Case No. 1358 of 2019 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.

– Giza Criminal Court has considered the detention renewal of Thaer Ezzat, Karim Rabie Zeidan, Ibrahim Mohamed and Hamada Mohamed pending the Case No. 1739 of 2018 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
