– The Supreme State Security Prosecution reversed the precautionary measures issued against Khaled Bassiouni, Khaled Mahmoud, Abdel-Aziz al-Fadhali, Tamer Khater and Mostafa Faqir ordering their release under the guarantee of their place of residence pending the case No. 1739 of 2018 State Security.

– The Court of Cassation adjourned the appeals submitted by the defendants in the case known in the media as “El-Edwa violence incidents” for the hearing of March 24.

– Moqatam Misdemeanor Court sentenced lawyer Zyiad El-Elemiy to one year in prison and a fine of EGP 20,000 over charges of spreading and broadcasting false news and statements.

– Cairo Criminal Court decided to replace the pretrial detention of 28 defendants with precautionary measures pending the case No. 1394 of 2019, known as “Rageh protests”.
