– Cairo Criminal Court considered yesterday the detention renewal session of human rights lawyer Mohamed al-Baqir and blogger and activist Alaa Abdel-Fattah pending the Case No. 1456 of 2019 State Security, and the court ordered their release with precautionary measures. The State Security Prosecution’s appeal is set to be considered tomorrow.

– Cairo Criminal Court considered yesterday the detention renewal session of photojournalist Mohamed Fawzy Mosaad pending the Case No. 1739 of 2018 State Security, and the court ordered his release with precautionary measures. The State Security Prosecution hasn’t appealed against the decision.

– Cairo Criminal Court considered yesterday the detention renewal session of photojournalist Islam Mosadaq, journalist Khaled Daoud and others pending the Case No. 488 of 2019 State Security, and the court renewed their detention for 45 days.

– Cairo Criminal Court considered yesterday the detention renewal session of video editor Mahmoud Ezzat and journalist Moataz Wadnan pending the Case No. 441 of 2018 State Security, and the court renewed their detention for 45 days.

– Cairo Criminal Court considered yesterday the detention renewal session of Dr. Shady El-Ghazaly Harb pending the Case No. 621 of 2018 State Security, and the court renewed their detention for 45 days.

– Cairo Criminal Court considered yesterday the detention renewal session of human rights lawyer Haytham Mohamdein, graphic designer Mosatafa Maher and accountant Rania El-Guili pending the Case No. 741 of 2019 State Security, and the court renewed their detention for 45 days.

– The State Security Prosecution considered yesterday the detention renewal session of Hassan Mostafa and Hussein Khamis pending the Case No. 1898 of 2019 State Security, and the court renewed their detention for 15 days.

Decisions not issued:

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution has reversed the precautionary measures issued against 8 of football fans and released them pending the Case No. 770 of 2019 State Security, known in the media as “Reviving Ultras Ahlawy”, in which they are accused of joining a banned group.

– The Supreme State Security Prosecution is considering the detention renewal session of Mohamed Samir Sayed, Mohamed Salah and Solafa Magdy pending the Case No.488 of 2019 State Security, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
