– The State Security Prosecution renewed, yesterday evening, the detention of labor leader Kamal Khalil, photojournalist Islam Mosadaq, and the Vice President of the Popular Alliance Party Abdel-Nasser Ismail for 15 days pending case No. 488 of 2019 State Security.

– The State Security Prosecution renewed, yesterday evening, the detention of activist Mohamed Walid for 15 days pending case No. 1358 of 2019 State Security.

– Tora Prison Complex prevented the family of human rights lawyer Mohamed, the deputy president of the Strong Egypt Party Mohamed al-Qassas, and others from visiting their relatives; because of a visit by an official delegation to inspect and check the prison’s conditions.

– The detention of dozens of those arrested over the case known as “September 20 Protests” has been renewed for 15 days pending case No. 1338 of 2019 State Security.

-The Court of Administrative Justice adjourned the lawsuit demanding to close the Guardian newspaper’s office in Egypt to February 22 hearing.

– Cairo Criminal Court adjourned the trial of 43 defendants in the case known in the media as “storming El-Tebein Police Station” for November 12 hearing.

– Cairo Criminal Court is considering the trial of 12 defendants, accused of joining “Sinai Province Organization” in the case known in the media as “Sinai’s Isis-affiliates”, but hasn’t reached a decision so far.
